Booking a tour

How booking works, what you pay, and what happens if plans change.

Most tours have a calendar on their own page and confirm straight away.
Private tours
Quoted by email once we know your dates and numbers.
Paying
Nothing is charged until a booking is confirmed. Card payment is handled by TuriTop.
Cancelling
Free up to 24 hours before the start time, refunded in full.

Most of our tours can be booked online in about a minute. Open the tour you want, pick a date and pay. You get a confirmation straight away and Salih is in touch before the day.

Tours that are quoted rather than booked

Private tours, layover tours and anything built around your own interests are priced individually, because a family of three and a group of ten do not need the same day. Send us the details and you get a plan and a price.

Paying

Online bookings are paid by card at the time of booking through our booking system. For quoted tours we agree the price in writing first and tell you exactly how to pay before anything is due.

Changes and cancellations

Plans change and we would rather move your date than lose you. Tell us as early as you can. Our full terms are on the terms and conditions page, and they are short enough to read.

Children

Children are welcome on every tour. Tell us their ages when you book so the guide can pace the walking and pick the right food stops.

In a hurry

For a tour tomorrow or today, do not use the form. WhatsApp us and you will get a straight answer quickly.

    Questions people ask about this

    How do I know the booking worked?
    You get a confirmation email with the meeting point and the start time within a few minutes. If it has not arrived, check the spam folder and then message us.
    Can I change the date after booking?
    Yes, subject to availability. Ask more than 24 hours before and there is no charge.
    Do I need to print anything?
    No. Your name is on the list and the guide has it.
    What if I am running late on the day?
    Call or WhatsApp the number in your confirmation. The guide waits where they can, and will tell you where to catch the group up.
    Is there a minimum number of people?
    Scheduled group tours need three people to run. If that is not met we offer another date or a full refund.
